They are applied by foliar spray which makes them a product series that can be used by a large variety of crop types. They function as both a more sustainable and affordable alternative to most current means of frost protection while offering a range of benefits.

AntiFrost® Increases Plant Resistance to Cold and Frost

AntiFrost® is a natural biostimulant that stimulates the production of anti-freeze proteins within the plant. These anti-freeze proteins prevent ice nucleation, and hence, cold and frost damages.

AntiFrost® is approved for organic use by the Soil Association.

Plants naturally protect themselves from the frost and cold by producing their own anti-freeze proteins. Some produce more than others based on their genetic properties and the environment they grow in.

CropAid AntiFrost® is a biological product. AntiFrost® contains thiobacillus bacteria and their produce of rusticyanin, oxaloacetic acid, and pyruvic acid. These are mixed with a special blend of minerals within the formulation.

We also produce a non-bacterial variant of AntiFrost®.
