🌡️ Overview

During the 2025–2026 season, Fertiplant SRL’s customers applied CropAid AntiFrost across 45 hectares of clementine orchards in the Testour region of Northwest Tunisia 🍃. Even with winter temperatures dropping to 8°C—well below the 12°C chilling‑injury threshold for these Clementines—treated crops showed zero chilling or dew damage. 🍊

🍃 Climatic Highlights

  • Lowest temperature recorded: 8°C
  • Clementine sensitivity: Chilling can begin at 12°C or below on these Cultivars.
  • Seasonal risk: Morning dew in December/January may damage fruit 💧🍊

1. Clementine – Variety Amira 🍊

  • Region: Testour, Northwest Tunisia

  • Treatment Plan:
    • 3 applications of CropAid AntiFrost
    • 500 ml/100 L water (5 L/ha)
    • Applied every 15 days
    • Approx. 416 trees/ha
  • Application Dates:

    • Approx. 416 trees/ha
  • Application Dates:

  • Results:
    • Full protection throughout the cold period
    • No chilling, or dew damage
