CropAid AntiFrost,: Bács-Zöldért (Büdi Zsolt, owner and CEO):
“It is a rare occasion that I recommend any product. This is an English product. We don’t distribute it!”
“I believe in this, because we tried it in the spring!”
“I trust CropAid AntiFrost!”
Frost and cold protection : CropAid AntiFrost was used by Bács-Zöldért, in the spring, after 13 frosty nights of -3 and -4 degrees, 50% of the Apricot fruit was still on the tree.
Those of you who follow me will have seen that in those five years I very, very rarely promote anything; be it
restaurants, wine, beer and especially not stimulants or miracle drugs, none of those!
At the same time, I believe in this product, because we tried it in the spring! We tried it for the first time this year.
And so, what if they say that if I believe in it, then why didn’t you invite us to come and pick apricots as part of the pick-it-yourself program?
Well, because it didn’t work at minus 8.5 degrees. I told you a long time ago that nothing works at -8.5 degrees.
[Note:] In the spring, after 13 frosty nights, even after -3 and -4 degrees on the 13th night, 50% of the fruit was still on the tree.
On the 14th night, it went down to -8.5 degrees and wiped it out.
You will find yourself in a similar situation spring after spring, and so will I. I am almost certain of it, and there
will be recurring frosts and then apricots and flowering fruits, then strawberries and then melons and other crops.
Now we are conducting a test. We will use it (CropAid AntiFrost) and another unnamed plant stimulator.
We will use CropAidAntiFrost for 2/3 of the area and the other plant stimulator for the remaining 1/3 of the area.
Why is this so? Because I trust this more!
CropAid summary:
CropAidAntiFrost was applied, following the user guide, to apricot trees. The grower suffered 13 nights of frost at -3 to -4C, still leaving 50% of apricots on the tree.
On the 14th night, a -8.5C frost happened which killed all the apricots. Büdi Zsolt mentioned that nothing survives -8.5C frost.
